Solos+Duets is a development opportunity for emerging artists to create a new solo or duet work for a studio showing in May, produced by Lofty Goal Project. Successful applicants will be provided with some free or discounted studio space during the creation process, as well as mentorship from an established artist selected by Lofty Goal Project for three to four of those rehearsals (up to six hours). Work will be presented at an informal studio showing in May.

Please note that this is an unpaid development opportunity.

Requirements:

• Creation of a solo or duet concept that is either self-choreographed or choreographed on others

• Must be a new project or one in the early stages of development

• Applicants must have completed post-secondary training or equivalent

• Final product for showing will be a max of 15 minutes

***The application will ask for video footage of past work (5 minutes max.). This can be group or solo work; we are just looking to see your choreographic style.
